Who We Are

Cleanthescene.org is a nation-wide tow company partnership program created by  Roadside Response, the largest Auto Accident Spill Remediation company in the United States.

We responded to 11,327 motor vehicle accidents and prevented over 2.7 billion gallons of Stormwater pollution in 2020 alone.

Our mission is to protect our U.S. waterways by reducing the number one cause of water pollution in the country: Stormwater Pollution.

What is Stormwater Pollution?

Stormwater Pollution is the main reason why we don’t let our kids swim in lakes and streams! On a more serious note, it’s killing our marine world and ruining our drinking water. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, about 62% of all oil-related pollution in the U.S. is caused by used motor oil and other VOF, and is the single largest source of oil pollution (over 40%) in our nation's waterways.

Certified Environmental Cleaning Technicians

We take our mission to protect the environment very seriously. 100% of our Spill Response team is OSHA HAZWOPER Certified and only specialize in handling spilled Vehicle Operating Fluids. You've probably used to age old methods like using cat litter to absorb spilled VOF, but I'm sorry to tell you, you’re doing it wrong! Cat litter and other similar absorbents are not effective once the hydrocarbons dry and barely picks up any oil on uneven surfaces like concrete before it sinks. Also, if you don't plan to circle back to pick up and dispose the absorbents properly, all of the contaminants will still washes away into our lakes, streams, and rivers.

Spill Control  Bioremediation Process

Our environmental technicians uses an organic formula that works like magic! Our solvent specializes in eradicating hydrocarbons from hard surfaces, water and soil. It uses plant enzymes and living micro-organisms to covert hazardous oil and gas into water and CO2! Not only is our formula 100% Natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable; it's the same process used by the US Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.  Bioremediation is also part of the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Contingency Plan for Oil Spills. Problems that affect the natural environment are best treated with organic solutions!

Partnerships with

First Responders

We don't need your truck drivers to learn how to protect the environment. We also don't wish to train our Environmental Specialists on how to tow cars! Instead, we chose to focus on our expertise and partner with local first responders and tow operators so can we do what we do best efficiently. Because of the US Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Water Act, we're permitted to provide environmental clean up services alongside first responders where spilled VOF's are found. Once we learn about the accident, our certified technicians will show up to the accident and get to work! Just report the VOF found and we'll handle the rest.

Is it really that simple?

Yes. It's that simple!

1

When a motor vehicle accident happens, they dispatch you.

2

If your driver notices any leaked fluids at on scene, you dispatch us.

3

We pay you $50 average per dispatch at the end of each month, regardless of whether or not your insurance claim has been paid.

It’s that simple.

What's the catch?

The catch is, the demand for our environmental services are increasing and we are growing rapidly. Which means we may not be servicing your city, yet! Please fill out our form below to see if your location qualifies for our Clean The Scene Program today. If not, it helps to know which tow companies care about the environment so we can prioritize those partners and territories as we grow.
